Login issues can feel a bit stressful, but there’s usually nothing serious going on. Let’s go through a few simple checks together to figure it out quickly.
In most cases, the problem comes down to the email used during registration, a simple password mismatch, or the login method not matching the original signup method.
Check the email used for login
Start by confirming the exact email address used when creating the account. It’s very common to try signing in with a secondary inbox, work email, or an auto-filled address that is slightly different from the original one.
If the account was created using Google or Apple login, the same method needs to be used again, since those accounts don’t rely on a separate password.
Reset your password
If the email is correct, use the “Forgot password” option on the login screen.
Enter your registered email and wait for the reset link. In most cases it arrives within a few minutes, but it can sometimes land in spam, promotions, or updates folders depending on your email provider.
Once the email arrives, follow the link to set a new password and try logging in again.
If the reset email doesn’t arrive
When the email is not showing up, it usually relates to filtering rather than a system error. Email providers sometimes delay or hide automated messages, especially on first contact.
It helps to double-check spam folders, make sure the inbox is not full, and ensure there are no active filters blocking automated emails. These small things are often the reason the reset email doesn’t appear right away.
