Real progress takes time — and that's okay. PawChamp's approach is built on consistency and evidence-based methods, because that's what actually works for you and your dog.
PawChamp's streak system tracks how many consecutive days you've engaged with your plan and helps you build a habit that actually sticks.
The flame icon in the top right corner of your My plan screen shows your current streak count. Completing at least one lesson per day keeps it alive.
Why does it matter? Short, consistent daily sessions beat occasional long ones — every time. A dog that trains for 10 minutes daily learns faster, retains more, and stays more engaged than one that trains for an hour once a week. Your streak is a direct reflection of the consistency that creates real results.
Keep it enjoyable! Training should never feel like a chore — both for you and your dog. Long or repetitive sessions lead to disengagement. If your dog loses focus, it’s better to stop.
A short session where your dog finishes happy is always more valuable than a long one where attention drifts.
Missed a few days? No problem. Your progress is always saved. You can pick up exactly where you left off, or go back one or two lessons to warm up before moving forward. What matters is coming back — not the number.
💡 Tip! On busy days, even one short article or video lesson counts. Five minutes is always better than skipping. The habit is the goal — the streak is just how you track it.
